Phnom Penh: The construction of the new Russey Keo Bridge across the Tonle Sap River is 50% complete. The bridge will open in March 2023. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport on Friday afternoon.

The bridge will be a huge benefit to the capital. It will create new traffic flow connecting National Road 5 in Russey Keo with National Road 6 in Chroy Changvar. Part of the project also includes a new road connecting this route to the new Moradok Techo National Stadium, which will host the SEA Games in 2023.
